Penn State players get their drink on

Penn State is living up to its #1 ranking as the top party school (suck it Florida – you may have SEC speed but we have Big Ten tolerance) as two more players have been cited for alcohol related offenses. First, as reported by FOS and linked by PSU Blog Mafia (would that be a Blogfia?) Black Shoe Diaries Ako Poti was arrested for DUI on July 12th. Originally there were few details just a mention of a traffic violation that led to the DUI arrest. Not to toot my own horn, but I stated in the comment section of BSD that Ako was probably out late at night on his way home and a cop pulled him over solely because it was late and used the bullshit traffic violation as an excuse to nail him for DUI. Well as it turns out I was right.

At about 3 a.m. July 12, police charged senior reserve offensive tackle Isaako "Ako" Poti, 1400 Martin Street, with DUI after he registered a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .112 percent, the State College Police Department said.

Poti was also charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said. He made a turn onto North Atherton Street without using his turn signals and drifted into the right lane, police said.

First off, let me just state for the record that Ako was driving under the influence and I don't condone that it's wrong and trust me, I'm someone that can attest to that, but don't tell me they pulled him over because he "failed to use his turn signal" they pulled him over because it was 3 a.m. plain and simple. Do you know how many people I see failing to use their turn signal on a daily basis, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't see at least 6 or more people failing to use their turn signal, hell this morning I was behind a local cop that didn't use his turn signal. Actually, although I'm a turn signal zealot, I was once pulled over for the same thing but like this case it had less to do with the turn signal and more to do with me accelerating by a slow car to about 90 on my bike, but I digress. Ako should get the dog house for failing to understand that if you're drinking you shouldn't be driving and for Christ's sake don't be driving at 3 AM.

But Ako wasn't the only Lion to run into trouble:

Glenn A. Carson, 26 Popper Street, Manahawakin, N.J., was charged with public drunkenness and underage drinking in connection with a July 25 incident that occurred at the intersection of Burrowes Road and Pollock Road, Penn State police said.

Carson is an incoming linebacker recruit and I can forgive the "underage drinking – public drunkenness" sort of thing because who among hasn't done either? For those of you that believe in the hardass, nail 'em all to the wall kind of discipline this was in incoming recruit, someone that wasn't even on the team yet, don't get mad at Paterno if he slaps the kid on the wrist.

WR James McDonald kicked off the team

No big surprise considering his recent DUI arrest but wide receiver James McDonald was shown the door yesterday.

The athletic department released a short statement Tuesday afternoon on McDonald, a reserve wideout who has seven receptions for 90 yards in his career.

"James McDonald, a reserve wide receiver and recent graduate of Penn State's College of Communications, will not be invited back for his fifth season on the football team."

James was stopped for an expired registration and well I can guess how the rest of the story goes… have you been drinking… please step out of the car and do three back flips while holding this gallon jug of milk and reciting the Declaration of Independence backwards. What, you screwed up please blow into this sir.

I feel bad for McDonald because the .08 to .10 range of BAC means he roughly had two 16oz. beers for a man his size and I'd be willing to bet at that level James would have better reactions and drive better than every legally licensed Pennsylvania driver over the age of 70 but I don't make up the laws. Not to mention James has long been the senior denizen of Joe's doghouse so yeah he's gone.

Oh and by the way Adam Rittenberg….

The dismissal isn't a huge surprise, especially considering McDonald's prior suspension. Then again, other Penn State players have done worse things and remained on the team.

Keep the fucking personal commentary to yourself when reporting the facts. If you want to write an opinion article about this subject do so on your blog, I don't want veiled personal attacks when reading the news. Not cool.

Fall Guy

The police have arrested a man in connection with 'pot gate'

A man faces a misdemeanor drug charge after police said marijuana residue and related items were found in a Penn State apartment rented by four Nittany Lions football players. University police say Ronald Bridges, of Bear, Del., was charged with the controlled substance drug, device and cosmetic act.

Deputy police chief Tyrone Parham says Bridges was not a student, and that he was visiting the apartment the night of April 25, after the Blue-White scrimmage. Parham said Thursday the case is closed.

Considering Joe's reaction to the whole thing I would say little if anything is going to come in the way of punishment. You may now resume your normal lives.

Let’s blow this thing way out of proportion

JoePa said Tuesday that the Pot incident is getting "blown way out of proportion." Paterno says the four students renting the apartment weren't there when the police arrived.

Which is consistent with what the Post-Gazette is reporting.

Police said no one was home when they responded to the incident shortly after 11 p.m. on April 25 at Nittany Apartments.

It also appears that the items that were "in plain view" were not as egregious as they originally sounded.

Penn State police confiscated marijuana residue and drug paraphernalia during their search of an on-campus apartment where four football players live.

According to a police report, other items collected from the apartment hours after the annual Blue-White spring game include hollowed-out cigars in the kitchen and a multi-colored pipe in a bedroom on a television stand.

So it sounds like whoever was smoking the wacky tobacy finished it off before the police arrived and apparently they must have smoked enough of it to set off the smoke detectors. Criminally speaking we're probably talking a slap on the wrist if anything but to whom I have no idea, is the "multi-colored" pipe enough evidence to pinch the resident of the bedroom? Can they get fingerprints off the "hollowed-cigars?" Where's a legal expert when we need one. With the frequency of offseason incidents occurring at Penn State lately I may have to hire a legal department here at TNL just to muddle through all the legal ramifications.

As for Joe's "blown way out of proportion" comment, well… I usually don't disagree with Joe but you've had three incidents of players smoking pot in the past year; I think it's time to send a message. Let's face it; whether or not anything comes of this legally, we know that someone in that apartment did smoke pot and enough of it to set off the smoke detectors. Let's not turn a blind eye to this, Evens got suspended for smoking pot last season, do the same for all four of these guys. Maybe some, or most, did not smoke any but they knew what was going on and should have tried to put a stop to it.

Why can’t our football players keep from getting high?

You would think that after watching Maurice Evans completely annihilate his chances of an NFL career by smoking some weed his teammates would learn a lesson. Apparently not.

Penn State police searched an on-campus apartment of four football players for marijuana the night of last month's Blue-White spring football game, according to court records obtained Monday.

So who were the four players?

An application for search warrant identifies the apartment residents as Stephfon Green, Devon Still, Eric Latimore and Johnnie Troutman.

Yeah, kinda… sorta.. important. But wait there's still more. It was a police setup right? I mean they weren't doing anything to draw attention to themselves right?

According to the affidavit, police responded to a report of a loud party at Nittany Apartments. After arriving, police heard a fire alarm and ''detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana'' near the apartment, the affidavit states. After knocking on the door and receiving no response, police entered the apartment ''for health and safety reasons,'' the affidavit states.

Oh, so it was a loud party…. With FIRE ALARMS GOING OFF!!!! WTF?!? Who is so Goddamned stupid to sit around smoking pot while fire alarms are going off?!?! But the pot was well hidden you ask?

Upon entering, police observed marijuana ''in plain view in the kitchen,'' the affidavit states.

Just amazing. The affidavit does not say if any of the players were present but if they were there should be some fallout from this. Not only was it stupid to smoke pot when you have such a bright future but to do it in such a brazen way is completely unforgivable.

Add Tyrell Sales name to the police blotter

The former Penn State linebacker waved his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday on charges of DUI.

Sales' agent, Lynn Lashbrook, said his client will take part in a first-time offender program in which the charge is expunged from the record if the program is successfully completed.

So what happened?

The 23-year-old Sales was pulled over March 30 in Patton Township, outside State College. Court records show Sales was also issued a summons for turning movements and required signals.

No mention of his BAC which means this is a garden variety DUI because if it had been somewhere in the .20 range you know it would have made the report. Also that "first-time offender program" would be the Pennsylvania ARD program which means again, it's a garden variety DUI, if he had acted like an ass to the cop or caused damage or injury he would not have been eligible for ARD. This looks like the typical PA DUI snipe, officer pulls him over for a bogus traffic violation at 1:30 AM in the morning and "hey I smell alcohol walk this line son." Not that that's happened to me or anything.

Bowman permanently entrenched in JoePa’s doghouse

Navorro Bowman was sentenced to one year of probation in his hearing today after admitting he smoked marijuana twice in the last four months. Prosecutors wanted six months but the judge decided to double the recommendation. If Bowman violates his probation again he will face six months in jail.
"It's completely within the judge's discretion and he's well within his rights and authority to [double the recommendation]," Centre County Probation and Parole director Tom Young told ESPN.com.

Bowman cannot be around drugs or alcohol (including in bars), must report to his probation officer at least once a month and submit to monthly drug and alcohol screenings.

Bowman admitted in court that he has been struggling with the death of both his father and his high school coach in the last year. "I'm still not really relieved from everything," he told ESPN.com last week. "It's still a struggle every day, just trying to do what I'm here to do and graduate. That's the most important thing. I'm eight-and-a-half credits from my degree, and once I get that, I can put a check mark next to the main reason I came to college. Everything else will pan out after that."

So there you go, I guarantee Paterno will help Bowman out by placing him in his infamous doghouse for the duration of his probation.

Bowman will have to clean that thing up it's been empty for a long time

Brilliant!

Charges have been filed against Nittany Lions Abe Koroma and Maurice Evans in connection with a Sept. 2 marijuana seizure at a Nittany Apartments residence, according to court documents filed today.

Koroma and Evans have been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, an ungraded misdemeanor, according to the criminal complaint.

Ok, so I'm a kick ass D end playing for a major university in a high profile conference and I'm on everybody's All-American list. I just completed a stellar sophomore year where I burst on the scene and every sportswriter knows my name when they talk about my team. If I have a year at least equal to last I'm a sure fire first round pick even if I go out early.

Hmmm I think I'll get high.

Moron! Fucking MORON!!

Is there not an ounce of God Damn common sense on this God forsaken team? I mean Jesus Christ, what is wrong with these kids!?!?

Ok, I'm calm now… serenity now, serenity now.

The eyes of a college football nation are now firmly fixated on one Joseph Vincent Paterno to see what happens next. Honestly I'd like to tell you what I'd do but I really don't know, this is such a unique situation and I have a hard time coming to grips with it. Suspend them for the year or a tangible amount and you look like the disciplinarian of old but you jeopardize what could be a superb farewell into retirement. Keep them out until Illinois rolls into town and you validate every negative thing written about the end of your career (including ESPN's driveby hit piece). I'll say this, if there ever was a time that I DON'T want to be Joe Paterno, it's now.

Stay tuned.

Ridin’ dirty with Willie Harriott

Ok technically he didn't get caught with something in his car so my title's not 100% accurate but he did get caught driving without a license.

Police cited Penn State cornerback Willie Harriott with driving with a suspended license the morning before the backup was kicked off the team.

A university police log lists the 21-year-old Harriott as having been pulled over early Thursday morning.

In November, Harriott was charged with driving under the influence and speeding.

So now we know what 'unspecified rule violation' Harriott broke.

Penn State announces new fight song

Yeah, I have no shame baby! I’ll take the easy way out every time.

I was gonna go to the game, but I got high…
I once had a lota fame, but I got high…
Now I’m lookin’ for someone to blame, and I know why…
Because I got high, because I got high, because I got hiiiiigh!

<Insert State Penn Joke here>

ESPN jumps on the Chris Bell pile and there's actually some good news from the whole ordeal.

"Chris Bell, who had been previously suspended from the team, is permanently reoved from the team and will not be considered to be part of the team in the future," a Penn State spokesman said.

In other words you're gone for good buddy, thanks for being the 5 star dipshit you've been during your illustrious career at Penn State. I'd also like to take this time to thank all the rest of this wonderfully behaved team; because of you we have links on ESPN.com to 6 different off the field incidents.

NICE!

..and while I’m at it, Joe Paterno is a smelly old man!

There's burning bridges then there's launching a full army brigade's worth of ammunition turning the bridge into a splintered pile of rubble, burning the rubble, and then taking a dump on the smoldering pile. Andrew Quarless chose the bombs-a-blazin' approach with respect to his career at Penn State.

Penn State tight end Andrew Quarless was charged Thursday with DUI after State College police say he was stopped early Sunday while driving with a blood alcohol level of .084 percent.

Quarless, 19, of Uniondale, N.Y., was stopped at 2:54 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East College Avenue and South Pugh Street when police said he ran a red light in a white BMW... "Did I go through the red light?" police say Quarless asked the officer. A blood test taken about a half hour later showed Quarless had a .084 BAC, the complaint states.

Did you go through a red light? No son, you just went through what was left of a once promising career. Adios. (HT: RUTS who always beats me to these things)

Blog Chips

-First the unpleasantness... Penn State Tight End Andrew Quarless has been yet again suspended from the football team.
Penn State tight end Andrew Quarless has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules, according to football team spokesman Jeff Nelson.

Quarless joins five other Lions who have been at least temporarily removed from the team for infractions since Jan. 25... This isn't Quarless' first visit to coach Joe Paterno's doghouse. The 6-foot-5, 252-pound sophomore sat out the first two games of last season after he was issued an underage drinking citation in August... He returned to a starting role but was often a nonfactor, catching just 14 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns.
But hey, he still had a great freshman season.
-Now that we've got that out of the way onto the fun stuff. I would be remiss if I did not mention that one of professional football's greatest has official retired yesterday.
After flirting with retirement for years, Brett Favre means it this time. The Green Bay Packers quarterback quit Tuesday after a 17-season career in which he dazzled fans with his grit, heart and rocket of an arm.

"I know I can still play, but it's like I told my wife, I'm just tired mentally. I'm just tired," Favre, a three-time NFL MVP said.
Forget his rocket arm or no-fear attitude he displayed on a weekly basis, I'll remember Favre for all the poundings he took and yet gutted his way off the turf and back into the huddle. He IS the definition of guts. I know it has nothing to do with Penn State but you have to take a moment and tip your hat to greatness – congrats Brett Favre, you made Sunday's a little more fun to watch.

-Speaking of tipping your hat to greatness I want to end by acknowledging two of my Big Ten blogging brethren for their efforts this year: Black Heart Gold Pants won the 2008 CFBA Best New Blog and our dear old friend Mike has won the Best Big Ten Blog. BHGP deserves it simply because they are fucking funny. That expletive is totally necessary and I think I've made my point – read them, like every day.

As for Mike: what more can I say, the man breathes, eats, sleeps, and lives Penn State. I have no evidence of this but I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if he and the old lady knock boots to the Penn State Blue Band CD – not shocked at all. Here is his humble (there's a surprise – isn't he always!?) acceptance speech.

But I plugged along because I love Penn State football. It's my hobby. It's my passion. I did it for my fellow Penn State fans like me who crave Penn State content 365 days a year. About six months after starting HTTL is when Peter approached me about coming on with SBN. So in August of 2006, Black Shoe Diaries was launched to a shaky start and the rest is history.

I remember Mike from his Hail To The Lion days and he's come a long way and made quite the success of it. It's very difficult coming up with content on a day by day basis and Mike makes it look easy.

I think shortly after I started up HTTL is when The Nittany Line and Run Up The Score started up. The three of us grew our blogs together. We encouraged each other. We bounced ideas off each other and RUTS soon came up with the idea to start the Blue White Roundtable. I consider Chris and Galen two of my best friends in the blogosphere. Thanks, guys.

The feeling is 100% totally mutual and it's been easy navigating the blogosphere when you have two skilled co-pilots pointing out the way. I've managed to meet Mike at one of his Penn State tailgates and he's just as transparent in life as he is in his blog – he's a great host and a very pleasant person. I'm excited about his win in particular because these award thingies are usually popularity contests among the bigger blogs but it's great to see the blogosphere pick one of the little guys. Congrats BHGP and congrats BSD!

Nittany Lion Fight Club: not just for football anymore

Taking a page from the football team, the wrestling team got in the act and started a fight as well.

A Penn State wrestler accused of punching a fraternity member who denied him access to a party last year saw the charges against him bound over for trial in Centre County Court on Wednesday.

Mark Allen McKnight... appeared before Judge Leslie Dutchcot for a preliminary hearing Wednesday on a charge of simple assault and summary counts of harassment and disorderly conduct.

McKnight is Penn State's starter at 125 lbs. He is ranked 9th in the nation with an 11-6 record this season.

The alleged victim said his front teeth were loosened and had sliced open his lip when he was punched, according to the complaint. The man fell backward and hit his head on a wall, police said. McKnight and his teammates had fled the scene, according to police.

McKnight's attorney claims that Mark was not the one that threw the punch but he would never "turn over a teammate to save himself." This is one time I believe the defendant because Mark weighs in at 125 pounds which means one of three things: 1) Mark was not the person throwing the punch 2) the victim weighed in at an equally freakishly small size which is illogical if it was a bouncer trying to deny them entrance or 3) the guy has an incredibly weak glass jaw (where's Run's Avatar when I need it?).

Players Charged

Well again I'm last to the punch – both RUTS and BSD are reporting that multiple Penn State players will be charged in the HUB assault.

Penn State defensive lineman Chris Baker, already facing trial on charges stemming from an April incident, was charged late last night with felony aggravated assault and several misdemeanors in connection with an Oct. 7 fight at the HUB.

Also charged in connection with the incident is Nittany Lions' linebacker Navarro Bowman, 19, of 6400 Gateway Blvd., District Heights, Md. Both he and Baker are charged with aggravated assault, a felony, simple assault, stalking and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors, and summary harassment.

Bowman and Baker were arraigned before District Judge Jonathan Grine and released on their own recognizance.

Another football player, reserve defensive back Knowledge Timmons, is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, and will be issued a summons by mail, authorities say. The charges against him are related to what police say is disorderly behavior and verbally combative behavior toward University police after they arrived at the scene of the fight.

Yeah, that's great but what happened you say, perhaps they were provoked by some young punk with beer muscles.

The victim later told police he was "strolling" through the HUB, may have brushed another man and excused himself. He said he felt tension growing, and decided to walk outside to get away from it, according to the complaint. He said 15 people -- all or many of them football players -- followed him outside and jumped him. There were four primary aggressors, he told police.

Beautiful! Wonderful, not only does it take an insensitive, masochistic jerk to pick a fight with someone who accidentally brushed up against them but it takes 14 of his friends to take on a single guy. Pathetic. Well, wait a minute Galen, you say… what is the players' side of the story? Glad you asked.

Baker told police that the victim charged at Bowman when they were outside, instigating the fight.

Uh huh. Sooooo… you'll have me believe, Mr. Baker, that a single man of (I guarantee) much smaller stature then you and the 14 of your friends chose to pick a fight with you and said 14 friends. *cough* bullshit *cough*. Sorry, that holds water like a colander, you're lying through your teeth and we have evidence.

Video surveillance at the HUB showed a group of 15 large men marching toward the victim outside the HUB, according to the criminal complaint.

Other witnesses are cited in the report, including a 41-year-old maintenance worker who said he tried to help the victim during the attack, but couldn't get through the crowd of men surrounding him. The witness said the men were kicking, shoving, striking and punching the victim, as well as throwing things at him.

What about Timmons?

When police arrived, they found two players -- Baker and Timmons -- still at the HUB, flipping chairs and tables. Timmons was told to leave, and told police he was looking for his cell phone. The charges against Timmons, according to sources, are connected with his disorderly conduct after police arrived at the scene, not to the attack outside the HUB.

No one "looks" for a cell phone by flipping tables, that's just another line of shit. These guys were just being antisocial miscreants.

So Baker started a fight (again), beat the shit out of a single guy with a bunch of his friends to back him up (again) and then stayed around to break shit in the HUB. You sir, don't belong on any college football team let alone Penn State. It's time for Paterno to end the relationship between Baker and Penn State, he's a cancer and will never get the fact that he's got a privilege that most of us could only dream of and yet acts like an immature moron. Kick him off the team permanently, if he is allowed to stay on this team it gives me just one more reason not to renew my season tickets next year and one more reason to skip even trying to get tickets to all the good games the Michigan game.

And now the rest of the story…

(HT: RUTS who always beats me to these things)

A widely circulated video that shows two men in Ohio State jerseys being physically and verbally harassed at a Penn State fraternity party has prompted widespread criticism of Penn State fans.

But the main person in the video was a visiting student from the University of Pittsburgh, said Bill Mahon, vice president for university relations. Mahon also said the two Ohio State fans in the video were visiting members of the same fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, and had stayed at the fraternity the night before without incident.

The 48-second video opens with booing and shouts of "We Are," then turns to show two people in Ohio State jerseys walking away from an outdoor fraternity party while over a dozen objects that appear to be beer cans fly in their direction. A few of the objects hit the fans.

One person appears to push the two fans toward the exit, then later runs toward them and throws an object at one of the fans from a few feet away. The camera operator then celebrates gleefully.

Since the video was posted on YouTube, several bloggers have chastised the Penn State fans and fraternity involved.

So perhaps it's not as bad as it seems from the standpoint that they weren't two unsuspecting, random victims that wondered into the wrong place. Still, what happened to prompt such a reaction? And was assaulting them really that necessary?

So what is going to come of this? Well the gloating asshat Pitt fan could get the worst of the charges:

If the injuries are significant, the Pitt student could face a misdemeanor charge of simple assault. If not, a summary citation of disorderly conduct and harassment is likely.

So what of the wonderful frat house hosting the party:

A summary citation of disorderly conduct will be issued to Pi Kappa Alpha for hosting the party.

A final word on Austin Scott

Austin Scott's fate will be decided in a court of law and we won't know too many of the details from now on since a gag order has been issued. So what details do we know? We know that Scott was called by the accuser from a bar early in the morning and Scott picked her up took her back to his apartment where they had sex. Scott claims it was consensual the accuser disagrees. We also know that the accuser had a similar encounter with another man 4 years ago in which they had consensual sex once but later the accuser said they had sex again without her consent. In the other case all charges were eventually dropped. That's what we know for sure, the rest is all speculation and rumor. For now let's assume Scott is innocent until proven otherwise because that's how our legal system works. Having said that Scott should be off the team, not because he's accused of sexual assault but because he has had far too many chances and he continues to screw up. He broke team rules by breaking curfew and this is hardly an isolated incident. If this had been Scott's first mistake I would have rooted for Paterno to stick by him until the trial was over but Austin has screwed up for the last time in my mind. You can only give a person so many chances.

As a single man though, this case scares the Hell out of me. If we assuming Scott didn't force himself on the woman, that is to say that there is no physical evidence of forced sex then this becomes a case of he said/she said and I can completely see myself getting in the same situation. While I've never received a booty call late at night from a drunk "friend" at a bar I've certainly taken a woman home from a bar a time or two (stop laughing, it's true! It's tough sneaking her past my mom to the basement where I blog from). Now I would never force sex on a woman and I've never had a woman say "no" or "stop" after getting her home but that doesn't mean that she won't wake up the next day and decide that she made a mistake and cry foul, and at that point it's my word vs. hers. Once a woman accuses a man of rape that sticks with him the rest of his life no matter what the outcome of the trial is and there's the problem. It's far too easy for a woman to accuse a man of rape in this day and age without any consequences. I'm not saying it should be more difficult for a woman to accuse a man I'm just saying it's a double edged sword, one that I could find myself impaled with someday. I have plenty of female "friends" that I think I know and understand but you can never be too sure, like I said this case scares the Hell out of me.

The hits just keep on coming

Laschout.com is reporting that there were multiple players involved in a fight at the HUB late Saturday night (HT: BSD). Apparently the players involved will be immediately suspended from the team.

But wait there's still more!!

Apparently the man of poise himself Joe Paterno was involved in a road rage incident.

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State police are investigating an apparent road rage incident that was reported to them about 12:10 p.m. Friday along Bigler Road near the Food Science Building.

Penn State police spokesman Tyrone Parham said he could not release the names of those involved because the investigation is ongoing. Additional interviews are being conducted, he said.

"We've only heard one side of the story so far," Parham said.

The caller and apparent victim is a university employee, according to police.

When your head coach is acting like a raving lunatic it's time for a fresh start. Now I'm going to have to change my tag from Arrest of the Week to Arrest of the Hour.

Two more Penn State players cited

I might as well make this a weekly segment here – two more Penn State players were cited for underage drinking over the past weekend. Ryan Breen was apprehended just after 3 a.m. Sunday on Pollock Road near Schwab Auditorium, according to university police. That came two days after Joe Suhey was apprehended about 11:30 p.m. Friday at Nittany Apartments.

Neither player affects the team from an on-the-field perspective although Breen is the backup punter and is on the travel squad. Suhey is a backup tailback but hasn't played in a game this season.

On any given year this would be a meaningless charge and the kids would run some extra laps at practice but this team is getting completely out of control. Posse beatdowns, sexual assaults, underage drinking – where are the leaders? I'm in complete agreement with RUTS on this team, how can you like these kids? They can't control themselves and there is no one… not any single person stepping up and taking a leadership role. Not the coaches, not the captains, no one.

Apparently cleaning the stadium after home games hasn't sunk in to these guys it's going to take something more. I don't pretend to have all the answers but I do know that this team needs a sharp kick in the ass, we as fans deserve better.
