Really!?!
This Just In: Big Ten Official’s Background Raises Questions. Really!?! The Big Ten just started doing background checks on officials three years ago, right after an official with a Michigan shrine in his office retired. Really!?! Didn’t think that having an official working games involving his alma mater was a conflict of interest at the time? I mean their job is supposed to be an impartial judge, not a cheerleader. Do you even have to fill out an application or submit a résumé to work as an official in the Big Ten? Small details like filing for bankruptcy or the fact they were fired for sexual harassment never came during the hiring process? I mean, really? Really! Never caught the $479,407 in liabilities, two of their creditors were casinos or they frequented said establishments dating back to the 80’s either? Really!?! Good to know the Big Ten found all this out during their background checks and acted. Wait, YahooSports did the investigating. Congratulations Big Ten, really.

Excellent… I feel the hate growing within you.
Something something something Dark Side something something something complete.
This just in: the Big Ten isn't going to actually do anything about this. Why? Because the Big Ten doesn't care what you think, they weren't the popular kid in high school but rather that smart and dorky kid in college that kind of just "did their own thing."
It's why they don't actually do backgroud checks on any of the refs, unless by 'background check' they mean filling out the line that says: 'please tell is your pant size so we can issue you a uniform'.
nice post, still love the mic vick version of this on snl...
