Joseph Paterno arrested

All the other guys have beat me to the punch here but this is just too good not to rehash:

Joseph Paterno, was charged with trafficking cocaine after Palm Bay police spotted something being tossed out of the passenger-side window of a car he was traveling in on Monday, reports show. Paterno is being held on a $50,000 bond at the Brevard County Jail in Sharpes, reports show.

The officer put on his lights to make a traffic stop but saw what he reported as a medium-size bag being tossed out of the car.

A drug-sniffing dog also led officers to the center console near the area where Paterno sat, reports show. Paterno was handcuffed and taken to jail.

Message board patrons are saying they still want him as Penn State's coach. "He's still done more for our community than anyone else even if he deals a little smack every now and then," said poster WeR4Ever. When contacted by phone, president Graham Spanier said "we're looking into this and we'll determine the facts before making any judgments – that could have been a bag of baking soda or Splenda, Joe does enjoy the no-calorie sweetener in his coffee in the morning."
