I know the college football season is right around the corner and I’m as giddy as a kid at 5:00 AM on Christmas morning, but I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on this little nugget of information. Terrell Owens, the guy everyone loves to hate, was just fined $9,500 for missing a team meeting and a rehabilitation session and being late to an offensive meeting. This must make Cowboys fans, and SDIAB in particular, feel warm and fuzzy inside. Let’s recap Owens already fantastic, All-Jackass performance at Dallas to date:
-missed much of the offseason training program
-flew in specialists to help him rehabilitate his “hamstring injury” and wore a cycling team outfit while pedaling a stationary bicycle.
- returned to practice for several days, but Parcells ruled him out of a Monday night game so Owens stopped practicing and sulked in the corner. Owens’ predictable asshole excuse: He said he aggravated his “injury” because the club pushed him too hard.
-Parcells challenged T.O this week by saying that he needs to see Owens on the field, T.O. responded that there's 10 years of tape to show what he can do.
I'm guessing this wasn't part of the tape Owens was referring to
Jerry Jones’ response to all this, well, Jones said that his only concern was his receiver's “injury, not all this other stuff you hear about." Ah yes, all this “stuff” we hear about, how about all the “stuff” we have been witness to the last 5 years. Hey Jones, maybe you remember T.O.’s San Fran days, when he spiked the ball on the Dallas star? Here’s a reminder if you don’t...
Now THAT'S some "stuff"

As an Eagles fan in Texas, few things have been as enjoyable this summer as watching TO eat at the Cowboys from the inside as my officemates desparatly talk about Parcells' talents at coaching uncoachable players like TO. My only fear is that Parcells will permanently give him the boot before he has a chance to decimate team morale.
billybob,
It's amazing that so many Eagles fans learned the hard way and yet so many Cowboys fans haven't learned from the Eagles fans. My partner, SDIAB was one such person that couldn't stand TO coming to Dallas (he's a Dallas fan), but I hear Dallas fans in bars professing how they are going to win the super bowl with TO. They'll learn the hard way.
As a lifelong Eagles fan, I can't adequately describe how happy this makes me. As a T.O. fantasy owner, I may or may not be crapping myself at the prospect of having to start Andre Johnson once T.O. gets suspended. Or until Parcells finally snaps and kills him.
