Patriots Trademark Phrases 18-1, Pobody’s Nerfect

As bad as I feel for Kyle Brady and as much as I fear the onslaught of obnoxious Giants fans, that was one hell of a Super Bowl they played. Despite playing an invincible New England team that thought “perfection” was virtually assured, New York upset the Patriots 17-14. Perhaps, Tom Brady should have thanked Plaxico Burress that he had such a sunny outlook for the Patriots offense instead of reacting like this:
We're only going to score 17 points?" a surprised Brady said Wednesday. "OK. Is Plax playing defense? I wish he had said 45-42 and gave us a little credit for scoring more points.
Also, thank you to Coach Belichick for being such a douchebag as to race off the field before the game was over, did Randy Moss teach you that move?

While I'm at it, I am going to apologize. I razzed every Giants fan I knew, from the moment they acquired him, that there was no way that New York would ever win while Eli was their quarterback. Yes, THIS Eli Manning would never lead them to a Super Bowl victory. I was wrong and I'm sorry.

Do you really think we're gonna let you get 17 points? Jay Alford tells Tom Brady to shut the fuck up.

The icing on that cake was Jay Alford getting the sack late in the game. Brought a smile to my face.

-much as this eagles fan hates to admit it, the giants were the better team.

-fox actually showed a great instant replay of said alford sack from the skycam. looks like he got a tremendous jump from the snap and just blew through the line. trying to find the youtube clip....

-compound alford's performance with that of ed johnson this year, and one might get the idea of how invaluable LJ Sr. is.

As a die hard Giants fan and PSU alum, I have to say that Alford's sack of TB helped rid me of the bitterness I have been carrying since '99. ;) I still don't like Brady or Belichick and for my Giants to be the ones to bring down the Evil Empire.... it is awesome.
