Congratulations Penn State Field Hockey

What you might have missed in the aftermath of a complete and utter failure to end a pathetic football season on Saturday is that Penn State's Field Hockey team was putting together a tournament run. It ultimately ended as they fell to undefeated North Carolina 3-0 in the NCAA Tournament Championship Final, finishing as the runner-up for the second time in school history. Honestly, I watched the game on CSTV and was totally lost. I really have no understanding of the rules of field hockey, but Penn State was right in it for 3/4 of the game and the goalkeeper, Jen Beaumont, played her ass off.
