Philly loses yet again

I thought I'd do a drive by and post this in honor of RUN from RUTS because this is right up his alley. Philadelphians are not only fat losers but they are ugly too – according to Travel & Leisure Magazine. Of the 25 major American cities ranked by citizen attractiveness, Philadelphia finished dead-last. Quote of the day belongs to Frank Farley, a psychologist at Temple University:

"People may perceive Miami to be a younger, hard-body city and Philadelphia to be an older, stodgy, historic place with a lot of losing sports teams. Did I say that? I didn't say that."

Oh no he didn't!

saw the headline. didn't need to see the results to know where philly would finish.

between getting blamed for every fan mishap in happy valley and this tripe, it is getting very tiring defending my city.

How you can quantify a "ranking" for ugliness is beyond me but it's funny nonetheless. PA is full of ugly fat people that can't win at chutes and ladders.

Old News - since then we've also been named the saddest (SI's Worst Slump) sports team town as well.

The Daily News ran the headline "We're not only fat, we're ugly too"
