Dan Connor named POW

For the second week in a row Penn State has the best defensive player in the Big Ten. Dan Connor was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Connor had 12 tackles, including eight solo stops, two tackles for loss and one sack in Saturday's game against the Irish. This follows linebacker Sean Lee's Big Ten POW last week. Earlier this week, Connor was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation's National Defensive Player of the Week. Whose next – Justin King I'm looking in your direction.

It's a good thing you're looking in King's direction, because you can be damn sure opposing QB's won't be!!

And therein lies the problem, Clausen made the mistake but you can bet the Big Ten will stay away from his side of the field.

I'll nominate Scirrotto for this week's POW. He's due.

King won't get it. Opposing offenses are too smart.

The best corners are the ones you never hear about, because people just don't go to their side of the field.
