We must respond with our deadliest weapon: the Lawyers

We'll get to Joe Paterno's punishment at a later date, but first things first: what is going to happen to members of the State College Fight Club from a legal standpoint. Of the six players charged, Chris Baker is the only one that doesn't have a lawyer talking to the press.

"Nothing shows he touched anybody, did anything to anybody, marshaled forth the troops or anything," Ed Blanarik Attorney for Anthony Scirrotto said. "Just because he may have made a phone call to somebody and several members of the team showed up doesn't mean that he solicited them to commit a crime."

The attorney for Penn State defensive back Justin King and linebacker Jerome Hayes said Friday that the two players were only peacemakers who were unable to stop a melee in the State College apartment.

Attorney Ron McGlaughlin said King and Hayes did not hurt anyone that night, even though police argue they committed a crime by entering the apartment after being told they were not welcome. "Do you mean to tell me you become a criminal because you go inside and say, 'Come on, it's time to go?'" McGlaughlin said.

Attorney Karen Muir, who represents Lydell Sargeant, said she looks forward to the football player being exonerated. "At this point, we are still investigating the allegations. And they are just that, allegations," Muir said. "We are looking forward to defending the case and having the preliminary hearing Friday."

Sales' father is talking on behalf of his son: Tom Sales said his son also went in as a peacemaker.

So let's recap: big fight with several people getting hurt and of the six players charged, only one threw punches?!? Chris Baker must be one bad Mo' Fo'. Something's not adding up.

Sales was a peace maker, huh? Sure. Apparently he was blinded with peace because according to Hayes he almost punched Scirrotto by mistake.

It's a shame that the d-line will probably be without that 1 Big Mo'fo' against Michigan this year.

Yeah, I would say Baker is done for the year, I would be surprised if he gets any less.

Peacemaker is usually the nickname of the sheriff's revolver in Old West movies
