Say it ain’t so: Posluszny to Notre Dame
We interrupt your regularly scheduled State College Fight Club news to bring a report from recruiting. Paul Posluszny’s little brother David has signed with the Fighting Irish after visiting South Bend for last Wednesday’s practice according to UHND.com David is a Rivals Top 100 prospect listed at linebacker, his new position after playing three years at safety. According to UHND.com, Penn State had not offered David but it’s hard to believe they didn’t have interest knowing Penn State’s propensity toward legacy players. It’s going to be difficult to hear the name Posluszny announced for Notre Dame in the next four years for PSU fans. I don’t know David’s reasons for choosing Notre Dame but I can understand not wanting to follow in your older brother’s footsteps especially since I have one about the same age difference of Paul and David. Posluszny had official offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Louisville, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and a handful of other schools. At 214’ish he’s a tad small for a linebacker but then again so was his bigger brother. It’s just a good think Penn State fans won’t have to hear that name announced against them in Beaver stadium.

I look at it this way: he could have committed to Pitt, OSU, or Ann Arbor.
Yeah, Notre Damn is fine with me.
Yeah, if your name is Suhey you could be 5'4 and 135 lbs and you'll get a scholarship. Not so if you're a Pozluszny.
WTF?
I'm with you on the Suhey thing, BSD.
Fact is, we have better rated LB's on our board this year, and David really wasn't interested in being "Poz's little brother" at Penn State.
No big deal, I wish him well.
