Dan Connor named Defensive Player of the Week

Not only did Penn State fans think there was two or three Dan Connors on the field against Akron, but the Big Ten did as well. For his 13 tackle, 2 sack, 3.5 tackle for loss, 1 forced fumble performance the Big Ten has named Penn State linebacker Dan Connor defensive player of the week. Take that Mr. Butkus, Paul Posluszny! Connor and Co. held Akron to 33 yards on 34 rushing attempts and just 225 total offensive yards in Penn State’s 34-16 victory over the Zips.
