Dan Connor named Defensive Player of the Week

For his 13 tackle, 2 sack, 3.5 tackle for loss, 1 forced fumble performance the Big Ten has named Penn State linebacker Dan Connor defensive player of the week. Take that Mr. Butkus, Paul Posluszny! Connor and Co. held Akron to 33 yards on 34 rushing attempts and just 225 total offensive yards in Penn State’s 34-16 victory over the Zips.
