Miami reserve safety Willie Cooper shot

Miami backup Safety Willie Cooper was shot in the buttocks Friday morning by an unknown person who fled after teammate Brandon Meriweather pulled a pistol from his pants pocket and fired three times. The assailant jumped a fence and fled with another person in a car. Cooper wasn’t seriously injured.

Now we could take the easy way out and make some lowbrow shot in the ass joke but we can do better…

Do you think firearm safety and maintenance is an entry level or elective course taught at the U? Sure at Auburn it’s an “independent study” course, but I think you might have a crime problem if your players choose Glock models along with their pants size.
