Blogpoll: College Football Directed By Michael Bay

Shit been blowed up good this weekend.

I don't really know how to shift through the flaming wreckage quite yet, unfortunately its still a little early for any concrete statements. Was Georgia overrated? Was Oregon State underrated? I'm not sold on making Penn State top 5 and very uneasy with BYU in the top 10. Does Duke deserve a spot? What about Michigan State? Corrections, suggestions and objections are always welcome.

Games watched: USC/Oregon State, UConn/Louisville, Minnesota/Ohio State, Michigan State/Indiana, North Carolina/Miami, Illinois/Penn State

19 Wisconsin 12
20 Fresno State 3
21 Boise State 3
22 Virginia Tech 4
23 Northwestern 3
24 Wake Forest 9
25 TCU 4

Dropped Out: Nebraska (#22), Illinois (#25).

Moving Up:
Alabama - are they for real? Certainly they show up for primetime games in Georgia, but Clemson is this year's grossly overrated preseason team and we'll see where Georgia goes from here.

Northwestern - that Duke victory looks better and better as time passes.

Moving Down:
USC - dominated on the lines all night long and had absolutely no solution for Jacquizz Rodgers, but lost on the road.

Wisconsin - what the hell happened? Let the Badger's game against Michigan stand as a lesson to Penn State as to what occurs when you do not put away a team when you have the chance.

Nice work on the rankings. I think it's a good plane of reference to have a teams schedule of games played, although that may get cumbersome going forward.

How do you pull the yardage, etc in there? Or is it as painstaking as I think?

I take it from the box scores (yards gained/yards allowed), not complicated just tedious as the season progresses.
