Who’s Taking The Keys?

Blame it on the writer’s strike, but in the midst of turning on television without college football to satisfy my hunger, we’re now stuck with reality shows and politics in an election year. Here at The Nittany Line, we’re not really original thinkers and generally just follow the popular trends, thus in an effort to drive myself crazy and shamelessly rip off someone far more talented, I’ll spend some time looking at assorted candidates to succeed Joe Paterno, both real and not. Try to look at each in a half-assed manner you’ve come to expect from a site like this. Let it be stated that I’m in the camp of letting Joe coach as long as he wants, but I realize that an end is inevitable. Rumors say his legs are bothering him, this season was especially taxing and, at this time, he will be entering the final year of his current contract, so question remains: could this really be the end? If that is truly the case, we’ll show around some of this year’s latest fashions to pimp your Penn State football program in the future. Stay tuned.
