PSU – Minnesota game on

Thanks to the Twins improbable division title, the game with the Minnesota Golden Gophers is on. If the Twins lost the division and had to enter the playoffs via the wild card, then the Penn State-Minnesota game would have been postponed to the end of the season, but with Minnesota beating the White Sox 5-1 and Detroit losing to Kansas City 10 – 8, the Twins clinched the division. With the team getting better with more experience and the defense on a roll, it’s probably good the Lions will play Minnesota before the big game with Michigan. Minnesota lost 28 – 14 to the Wolverines on Saturday and Penn State needs a solid victory on the road before meeting Michigan under the lights in two weeks. The game is scheduled for high noon next Saturday.
