Rubin brakes collar bone, out for month

It has become apparent that Mark Rubin hit a bus of Gypsies some time during the spring of 2005 because he is cursed. After missing the entire 2005 season after dislocating his right ankle in the preseason last year, Rubin broke his collarbone diving for a ball on the first day of drills this year. He was the only returning veteran wide receiver going into the 2005 season and was expected to produce and help a young group of incoming freshmen. With the emergence of D.W., Butler, and Norwood in 2005, Rubin was switched to safety and the coaches were happy with his progress. He is expected to add some much needed depth at a position depleted from graduation.

The gypsy "dance of joy" performed here just before Mark Rubin plows into them in his 1999 Ford Festiva.

God bless the Ford Festiva. Rollerskate on wheels, 0-60 in 3 1/2 days, and 275 miles to the gallon. They don't make them like that anymore, Thank God.

Hey, I learned to drive on a 1979 Dodge Omni, best moving hunk of junk in the universe. A cop once pulled me and my friend over for speeding (he had a Ford Mustang) and had the audacity to accuse me of going 85 miles per hour. I said, buddy this is a 1979 Omni, it won't go 85 if you drive it off a cliff. He ticketed me for driving to fast for conditions.
