Media pick Ohio State to win Big Ten

Big Ten media members announced today that Ohio State has been chosen as the preseason football favorite during the conference's media day. Michigan was picked second with Iowa third. News like this easily passes the Lance Bass test, as in it’s about as shocking as the former Backstreet boys band member admitting he’s gay. Also announced were the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year awarded to Buckeyes' quarterback Troy Smith and Preseason Defensive Player of the Year given to Penn State linebacker Paul Posluszny.

Tosu has the class of a stink bug and the football skills of a turd! They'll be good but not unbeatable! GO State! Get overlooked!

Remember when ESPN were calling USC "the greatest football team of all time". My point is this, the media knows about as much about football as ANY other English major. Where was Penn St ranked at the beginning of last year? I imagine it lower than they finished.

CHM,

They weren't ranked, in fact, this time last year, most media personel wouldn't even talk to the Penn State players during media day because they didn't think they were worth the time. How much of a kick in the pants is that?
