Former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett has hired new attorneys. After firing attorneys William Settina and Robert Krapenc a week ago, Clarett hired Nick L. Mango and Michael C. Hoague, pictured below.
What are the feelings of Clarett’s new council??
"We both feel very strongly that Maurice Clarett is innocent," Hoague said. "There seems to be a rush to judgment in the court of public opinion. This is a sort of kick him while he's down situation."
Nice Gil, er… Hoague. Yeah, we all are just rushing to judge here, no past precedent to judge squeaky clean Clarett, huh? "I'm very confident. I'm just looking forward to my day in court," Clarett said as he left the hearing. Then he punched Hoague in the face. Ok, I added that last part, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
